iWitness is a wireless technology company developing products and applications designed to prevent crimes from happening, keep them from escalating when they do, make it easier for authorities to catch and prosecute criminals, and provide peace of mind for the user. iWitness was founded and is headquartered in Seattle, Washington.

 

David Remer, Chairman and Founder

David Remer served as CMO of Xypoint – a category leader in E911, specializing in wireless data transport for emergency services. He also worked as an external strategist on brand positioning and messaging for TCS (NASDAQ: TSYS), a leading provider of mission-critical wireless data solutions for government agencies, public safety, and carriers.

David has also provided strategic and marketing counsel to several wireless and telecom companies. These include Intrado – a leader in location based services designed to enhance E911 services, and S5 – a company serving the LBS market with stand-alone applications as well as fully integrated operation within existing data/voice applications.

David is currently CEO and Creative Director of remerinc, an award winning marketing agency headquartered in Seattle, WA.

Ken Arneson, Strategic Adviser

Ken served for nine years in various senior management roles within McCaw Cellular (AT&T Wireless) Messaging Division. He later co-founded Xypoint (location and E-911 for mobile), which he sold to TeleCommunication Systems (NASDAQ: TSYS) in 2001.

He co-founded two additional companies, Chameleon Technology and My Clients Plus. Chameleon Technology serviced the municipal WiFi and broadband market and was later sold to Secured Services, Inc. Currently, Ken serves as Vice President at RECON Dynamics (location tracking, telemetry).

 

Gary Ernsdorff, Strategic Adviser

Gary is a Senior Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for the King County Prosecutor’s Office, located in Seattle, Washington. He graduated from the University of Washington Law School in 1992 and began his career in criminal law as a public defender in King County. In 1997, Mr. Ernsdorff “switched sides” and joined the King County Prosecutor’s Office. Mr. Ernsdorff has served in a number of units, including Special Assault, Appeals, and the Trial Team. He has also supervised deputies in the Juvenile, Domestic Violence, Felony Trial, and Violent Crimes units while maintaining an active trial case-load involving some of the more serious and complex cases. He is currently serving in the Special Operations Unit where he is involved supervising electronic surveillance and investigating complex crimes. Mr. Ernsdorff regularly lectures on criminal law and trial advocacy to prosecuting attorneys, police departments, advocacy groups, and student organizations. He is also an adjunct instructor for the University of Washington School of Law.

 

Roderick Jones, Strategic Adviser

Roderick is a former member of Scotland Yard’s Special Branch. During his time with Special Branch, Mr. Jones focused on international terrorism and the protection detail of a prominent British cabinet member. Mr. Jones is the founder of Concentric Advisors. He has designed, implemented, and managed operational security strategies for some of the world’s largest corporations and highest net worth individuals. Mr. Jones has a Master’s degree in History from the University of Cambridge.
